Bar Rua is an Irish pub in the heart of Dublin with a street-level terrace that required full weather cover without the use of floor pillars. Two overlapping Retrosun Classic scissor arm awnings were installed on a wall-mounted metal construction, chosen to resolve the low installation height.
The characteristic scissor arm construction spans the full terrace width across two units, with deep projection and no intermediate supports. The red Dickson MAX canvas is supplied in a single piece per unit, offering rain-resistant cover in all weather. All profiles carry an extra-thick coastal coating for long-term protection. The LED lighting is integrated into the housing, and both units run on a single Somfy iO remote, a standard feature of the Retrosun Classic.
